KIDZ Fun Road Hockey Rules
- Any Intent to Injure, Majors and Fighting penalties will result in the player(s) IMMEDIATE EXPULSION FROM THE TOURNAMENT..if you're a Hot Head with Anger Management Issues, don't register!
- You may play up in Age Divisions but you can NOT play down in Age Divisions and can be comprised of boys and girls
- All Minor penalties will result in Penalty Shots (+ -) at end of game
- All Teams must check in to Final Registration Desk 30 Minutes prior to the team's first game.
- Teams must be available to play thirty (30) minutes prior to any scheduled games. All games on all pads start and stop at the same time, so be ready to play
- All teams will play a Minimum of four (4) Games
- All Teams will be comprised of seven (7) players which includes 1 Goalie
- One (1) Road Parent will accompany the team onto the playing surface while games are being playing to act as an Official Road Parent for the Children Safety Purposes
- Three (3) Players and one (1) Goalie on the pad at any given time.
- Format will be 3 on 3, ALL extra players will kneel behind their home net
- When a goal is scored the official will instruct scoring team, to back off to your own zone to resume play
- Any Ball Deemed "Out of Play" will result in a Face-off and stoppage of play
- Player changes will take place only in stoppages of play
- All Games will be 25 Minutes in Length and Run Time
- There will be NO Warm ups before games
- All players will wear CHA Approved Helmets with Face Masks and Gloves at all times while on the pad. All Players are encouraged for their own safety to wear Elbow, knee and inter dental mouth guards for protection
- Round robin play will determine overall placement of teams.
Each team will be awarded
- Half (1/2) Point will be awarded to Any Team Having A Penalty Free Game
- Two (2) Points for a Win
- One (1) Points for a Tie
- Zero (0) Points for a Loss
- There will be no timeouts throughout this tournament
- In the event of a tie after the completion of the round robin series, the following tie breakers will be used in this order and used only once through the process
- Record against other tied teams (Not Applicable in a Three Way or More tie)
- Goals for Minus Goals against (+ -)
- Lowest Goals Against
- Most Goals For
- Toss of a coin
- Overtime will be played in Quarter-final, Semi-final and Championship games only.
- Overtime will be Sudden Victory SHOOT OUT, players will alternate shots, with home team shooting last.
- Awards will be handed out to "Grand Championship" Teams & Silver Medallists Only
- All Referee, Officials& tournament organizing committee decisions are FINAL with No Appeals
