Hello Campers.
Well if you were not aware your Gold Medal Olympian instructors for this weeks camp:
Vicky Sunohara, Jayna Hefford, Gillian Ferrari are all currently looking very forward to meeting you all. As you are aware we are so pleased to also have on hand Ashley Riggs & Tessa Bonhomme from the National Women's Senior Team as they are the future of our Canadian National Women's Team.

Dear Campers,
Well with camp only a couple of days away we are all very excited and really looking forward to meeting everyone.
We do need to make sure you are well aware of the following:
PARENTS MEETING:
Tuesday just before the girls go to their first dryland training session.
Parents will meet with me for approx 5 mins of your time - Q& A will take place as well copies of the Itinerary will be handed out at this time as well.
SKATE LACERS TIGHTENERS & EQUIPMENT HELPERS
Sorry No Dads inside the Dressing Rooms.
However - There will be numerous players requiring assistance with all sorts of items.
All players are asked to come out side the change rooms where there is plenty of available bench space to help pull down jerseys, tie skates and get those helmet snaps done up.
Parents please feel free to help do up the numerous pairs of skates that will need to be tightened especially in the event someone's parent is not available.
We want the girls ready to go when the zamboni finishes the ice.
Our Goalie Instructor - Lisa Hollingsworth will help assist your daughters to get ready for their on ice session.
DRESSING ROOMS - PEANUT ALLERGY ALERT & SNACKS:
We have A PEANUT ALLERGY ADVISORY in EFFECT
Parents are responsible for supplying snacks and drinks for their daughters each day.
Please refrain from eating in the dressing rooms at ALL times.
Please ensure any snacks etc are eaten just outside our dressing room allocations or in the vestibule area.
Please ensure your daughter has juice boxes, snacks for before they go on the ice as well when we take a mini break between ice flooding (approx 10 mins).
Please ensure NO GLASS Items are brought into the Dressing Room.
Feel free to bring a cooler bag for all your snacking needs and leave in the dressing room.
We will be able to drop off our hockey bags into the dressing rooms each day and leave them until our on ice sessions.
Once completed your off ice sessions EQUIPMENT must be removed immediately as other rentals will be in following our sessions.
TUESDAY MORNING ARRIVAL TIMES AT MCKINNEY ARENA:
Group A 9:00 AM.
Arrive into the main lobby McKinney Arena for final check in with Gary.
Please bring your electronic receipt we issued online.
Group B 11:00 AM.
Arrive into the main lobby McKinney Arena for final check in with Gary.
Please bring your electronic receipt we issued online.
TEAM PHOTOS TUESDAY SESSION
Each player will receive a "SKATE WITH THE STARS" Groups Photo.
This will be discussed first thing on Tuesday morning and they will be handed out on Thursday.
HTCP LEVEL 2 Certified Trainer & Equipment Technician on Site.
We will have the above available at all times over the 3 days.

Group A
9:30am - 10:30am Off Ice
10:30am - 11:00am Prepare for on Ice
11:00am - 11:55am On Ice Session
(10mins) Flooding of Ice Snacks & Drinks
12:05pm - 12:55pm On Ice Session
End of Day
Group B
11:30am - 12:30pm Off Ice
12:30pm - 1:00pm Prepare for on Ice
1:00pm - 1:55pm On Ice Session
(10mins) Flooding of Ice Snacks & Drinks
2:05pm - 3:00pm On ice Session
End of Day
PLEASE BRING TO CAMP THE FOLLOWING:
- Please if you have not already done so download a copy of this years Camp Waiver & Release Form and have it filled in ready for when you arrive.
- Sharp Skates & Strong Laces.
- Please check that ALL HELMET SCREWS are tight and that ALL straps & Snaps are in good condition and tight as well.
- Please a piece of WHITE HOCKEY/MASKING TAPE on the front section and Back section of your daughter's helmet so the instructors can respectfully address you when needed.
- Full bag of Equipment including a BNQ Neck guard.
- Water Bottle with your Name on It.
- Dark or Light Jersey where possible a Black - Red or White. This will assist us for our Thursday Inter Squad Scrimmages.
- Warm-up Suit & running shoes for off ice sessions.
- Road Hockey Stick - May be used is Outside Weather conditions are available for an off ice session.
- Parents / Coaches - feel free to bring a video camera to tape the on ice sessions and for sure on Thursday for the Inter Squad Game!
VALUABLES & JEWELLERY POLICY
Valuable - Bring NONE - Loose NONE!
Jewellery - Wear NONE - Loose NONE!
We are not responsible for your Valuables so please refrain from bringing any.
If you need someone to hold your daughters money - please ensure it is in a wallet and can be held with Gary Parkinson each day.
THURSDAY IS AUTOGRAPHS - PHOTOGRAPHS ETC.
At both groups Off Ice Sessions on Thursday we will be having the best part of Camp.
Make sure to purchase a SHARPIE Marker to ensure your autographs last a lifetime.
Because the ladies will have their Gold Medals with them so we hope those of you parents that received new shiny Digital Cameras & DVD Video cameras for Christmas if you would on our behalf please feel free to shoot footage, photos etc and where possible burn us a copy.
Parents are more then welcome to attend this session as well.
TEAM CANADA ITEMS DRAW & TICKETS
Yes We will be having a Draw again for some cool Team Canada Related stuff.
Details and items will be announced on Tuesday at Camp.
A Portion of the proceeds will be going directly to Breast Cancer Research In Ontario.
CHIX WITH STIX CLOTHING VENDOR
We are anticipating that Lori from Chix With Stix will be onsite Wednesday only starting at 9am.
Her clothing prices range from $15 - 38 offering t-shirts, hoodies, pants, bandana's.
I will personally be on site at all times throughout this event should you have any questions or comments. Once again we are very much looking forward to Tuesday March 14th.
